Positive: Where to start. I was there for work, but arrived on a Saturday. First good thing; there's an organic bakery nearby, as pointed out by Gwen, my host at La Roze. Do go if it works with your schedule (it's only open 09:00 - 14:00 Sat & Sun) - the bread is exquisite and it's a nice walk from the apartment and also has a few seats for coffee - get there early, it sells out fast. The apartment: just fantastic; exactly what I wanted. A wee galley kitchen at the back of a nicely decorated living space (not sure about the group of pictures, too 1970s!). Kitchen has everything you need to do basic food prep and cooking and is spotlessly clean - induction hob, combination microwave and fridge with a small freezer compartment. Adjacent bedroom has a really comfortable bed and ensuite shower/toilet. AirCon is there if you need it; late summer I didn't; it's well insulated and kept the daytime warmth. It's a very quiet area, so no night-time noises and minimal light. I did like that there was no TV, its absence made no difference to me, but could see how some might like the choice. There's a deck outside where you can sit and catch the last of the sun in the evening. There's a dedicated parking space close by, which for me was super-handy.
Negative: Nothing - I would be being ultra-pernickety if I said anything. Like they say, if you can't say anything nice, say nothing!
Summary: Wonderful, well-appointed apartment in a tranquil setting.
